HopeFull™ ~ Services for your Patients and Clients

A Health and Healing Program

The NOAH Center in Great Barrington has developed a health and healing program for individuals who have been recently diagnosed with cancer or other serious illness.

The program, HopeFull™, is designed to complement medical care. For some, this may mean learning stress-reduction techniques such as meditation or guided imagery. For others, reading materials from our well-stocked lending library as well as other resource information may help conquer feelings of powerlessness. On Tuesday evenings, a clinical psychologist leads a support group on the process of developing personalized coping strategies in the face of fear, uncertainty and confusion.

The NOAH Center staff’s background and training includes holistic education and mind-body therapies. We offer a supportive environment in which to process the implications of a critical diagnosis and consider how to best move forward. Undergoing essential medical treatments need not exclude maintaining overall good health. Whether someone is recently diagnosed, undergoing therapy or recovering from surgery and therapy, the NOAH Center offers education and support of healthy lifestyle practices.
